The conditional workflow component acts as a “gate” that can control whether a certain path within a workflow continues or is terminated.
For example, in the workflow below the conditional workflow components control which of the three emails will get sent.
You can construct a conditional logic statement using IF and ELSE IF statements.

In the THEN and ELSE fields, you can select whether to continue the workflow or terminate the workflow path based on the statement.
The conditional workflow does not stop the entire workflow session - "do not continue the workflow" only stops the workflow from proceeding further along any connections beyond that conditional workflow components.
